twilight in garden
beneath crystal laden boughs
cardinal shadows
silently feed this cold eve
in reverence while snow falls

  8. This is very beautiful, Cheryl. I love your word choice in a form where every word counts. The cardinal shadows is just suggestive enough of the presence of the bright red birds in your dimly realized winter scene.
