trilling
spring peepers
once
silent in rivers mud,
keep
pace with heart beats
a
Ladybug tiptoes
across
warm earth now nourished,
sprigs
hear her footsteps
skeletons
of leaves
tumble
over the garden,
their
lives echoing

Loved the story of life through sounds Cheryl:) imagining the sight of ladybird tiptoeing made me smile. The dry leaves left me feeling haunted and alone.
